1. Scope and Role1.1 
Controller/Provider. For data processed by the App and any related support channels we operate, we act as the provider/controller of that information.

Coverage. This Policy applies to your use of the Chick Check app and to support interactions you initiate (e.g., email). It does not apply to third-party services you may choose to use independently (e.g., your email client, cloud backup services, or device manufacturer features).
2. Data We Process2.1 
On-Device Operational Records (User-Entered).Chick Check enables you to store poultry and farm management records on your device (for example: flock identifiers, hatch dates, feed notes, production counts, reminders). These records are 
created and controlled by you and are 
stored locally on your device. We do 
not receive these records unless you deliberately share them with us (e.g., by emailing support with screenshots or exports).
2.2 
Technical and Diagnostic Data (Non-Personal).To maintain stability and improve performance, the App may process limited device/technical data, such as:
- Device model and operating system version;
 - App version and basic configuration state;
 - Anonymous crash logs and performance signals.
 -  Where feasible, this information is handled in aggregated or de-identified form and is used strictly to ensure proper operation, troubleshoot issues, and enhance reliability.

Support Communications.If you contact us for help, we will process the information you provide (e.g., your email address, message content, and any files you attach) in order to respond and resolve your request.

No Payments or Subscriptions.Chick Check does 
not include in-app purchases, paid subscriptions, or payment processing. We therefore do 
not collect payment card data or billing details.
2.5 
No Camera or Gallery Access.Chick Check does 
not request or require access to your camera, photo library, or microphone to deliver its core functionality.
3. Purposes of ProcessingWe process data described above to:
- Provide and operate app features you select;
 - Diagnose crashes and ensure security and performance;
 - Respond to inquiries and offer customer support;
 - Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms, where applicable.
 
4. Storage and Retention4.1 
On-Device Storage.Your operational records are stored locally on your device under your control. Uninstalling the App will remove locally stored app data from that device (subject to your OS backup settings).
4.2 
Support Records.Support emails and necessary diagnostic artifacts are retained only as long as needed for the purpose for which they were collected, and as required by law (e.g., to demonstrate service quality or resolve a dispute).
5. Sharing and Disclosure5.1 
No Sale of Personal Information.We do 
not sell your personal information.
5.2 
Service Providers.We may share limited technical or support-related data with trusted service providers (e.g., crash analytics, email hosting) strictly to deliver support, diagnose issues, or operate the App. These providers must safeguard the data and use it only on our instructions.
5.3 
Legal Requirements and Safety.We may disclose information if required by law or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We do not share your on-device operational records unless you choose to send them to us.
6. SecurityWe implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information under our control. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you should also safeguard your device (e.g., passcode/biometrics, OS updates, and backups you control).
7. Your Choices and ControlsOn-Device Records: You can view, edit, or delete your records within the App’s features (where provided) or remove the App to delete local data on that device.
- Support Data: If you have contacted support and wish to request deletion of those communications, contact us using the details below.
 - System Settings: You control device-level permissions. Chick Check does not request camera/gallery permissions.
 
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights (e.g., access, correction, deletion). We will honor applicable requests consistent with local law and our role.
8. Children’s PrivacyChick Check is intended for general audiences and for lawful poultry/farm management. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required by law. If you believe a child has provided information to us in violation of applicable law, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. International ConsiderationsWe do not intentionally transfer your on-device operational records to our systems. If you email us, your message may be processed by our email and support infrastructure, which can be located in other countries. Those providers are required to protect the data consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
10. Changes to This PolicyWe may update this Policy to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. Material changes will be communicated via the App or another reasonable method. The “Last Updated” date below indicates the effective date of the current version.
